Solid, sterling silver, Navajo eagle ring, set with a beautiful carved eagle tuquiose. The beak is a beautiful mother of pearl shell design. The ring shank has a stunning micro set multi stone inlay. Turquoise, onyx, opal, lapis lazuli, coral, mother of pearl and a few sugalites. Signed by the artisan Rex Abeita. A rare museum quality item.

Native American artists have taken the technique of channel inlay a major step further into the world of micro-inlay. With this technique, the artist combines a very steady carving hand with a high magnification lens to shave very small slices of gemstones, which are painstakingly arranged to create images, and even pictorial displays. As with channel inlay, the stones carved for micro-inlay must be both precisely shaped and carefully fitted so that one doesn’t end up with a missing piece. I believe that micro-inlay is the current pinnacle of complexity for precision jewelry, but Native American jewelers are still striving to take their artistry to newer and even more awe-inspiring heights.

Sizing details
I make all my handmade rings, bracelets and pendants to the size requested at checkout. For vintage items, especially bracelets and bangle cuffs please check all measurements in the listing description. Checking sizes against your own jewellery is a good way also to confirm the fit. Please get in contact if you need any help with sizing.

International postage usually takes 5-7 days to arrive in your country from dispatch, then it's down to customs processing in the buyers country. I supply tracking numbers and timescale info via email for all orders.
